After seeing first-hand the success that strong marketing and content can bring, I set out to design a space that not only works for me—but is now available for you too, with all the perks.
Our studio isn’t just for creators. It can also be hired for special occasions, including engagement parties, wedding celebrations, and more. Cumbria is already home to some fantastic venues, but we wanted to offer something a little different—a modern, light-filled space that’s versatile, stylish, and perfect for both creative projects and personal celebrations.

Yes! You can reschedule or cancel your booking up to 72 hours before your session.
Late Arrivals
Please note that late arrivals cannot be guaranteed additional time beyond your original booking. Unfortunately, refunds or compensation are not available in these circumstances.
Overrunning Your Booking
If your session runs over, an additional charge of £60 per hour will apply. All setup and pack-down must be completed within your allocated slot.
If an overrun impacts the following booking, we reserve the right to transfer your deposit to the next client as compensation.
Can I extend my booking?
If availability allows, you may extend your session at £60 per hour, paid via a payment link. All extensions must be confirmed before your original session ends. Unapproved overruns may result in loss of your deposit. Discount codes cannot be used for same-day extensions.
You're welcome to eat and drink in the studio, but please avoid anything that could stain the furniture. Any damage may result in loss of your deposit.
To help ensure the security of our studio and the comfort of our clients, CCTV is in operation on the premises. Footage is only accessed in the event of health and safety concerns, suspected damage, or when the studio is unattended. All recordings are automatically removed after 7 days.
If you would prefer the cameras to be turned off during your booking, please contact us ahead of time and we will be happy to arrange this.
Our studio lounge is located upstairs in a historic building, and unfortunately does not have step-free or wheelchair access. We understand this may cause difficulties for some visitors, and we want to be as accommodating as possible. If accessibility is a concern, please let us know in advance—we’ll be happy to arrange a comfortable space for you in our downstairs coffee lounge, or discuss alternative ways we can support your visit.
You’ll enjoy full private access to the studio. Entry instructions will be emailed to you ahead of your visit, and while you’re here, you’re welcome to make use of the drinks area and refreshments provided.

A £50 refundable deposit is required with every booking. It will be returned after your session, provided there’s no damage, no overrun, and the studio is left secure.

SK Studio Lounge – Terms & Studio Policy
By accessing or booking through our website, you agree to comply with the terms and conditions outlined below. Placing a booking for SK Studio Lounge or purchasing Studio Credits confirms your acceptance of these terms.

1. Booking Terms & Conditions
1.1 General Studio Use
1. Please handle all furniture, props, equipment, and fixtures with care.
2. Any items you move must be returned to their original position before leaving.
3. Dispose of waste in the bins provided. Liquids must be emptied in the sink only.
4. Avoid dragging furniture or wearing footwear that may mark the floors.
5. The studio must be locked and secured at the end of your booking.

1.2 Security Deposit
1. A refundable security deposit of £50 is required for every booking.
2. The deposit will be refunded in full provided there is no damage, no excessive mess, no time overrun, and the studio is locked after use.
3. Damage to furniture, props, or the studio will be deducted from your deposit.
4. Failure to lock the door may result in a £20 call-out fee.
5. If your session overruns and impacts the next booking, your deposit may be transferred as compensation.
6. Excessive mess or failure to reset the studio may result in a £50 cleaning/reset fee.
7. Refunds may take up to 7 working days depending on your bank.

1.3 Damage & Care Policy
1. Any broken, stolen, stained, or damaged items will be charged at full repair or replacement cost.
2. Do not mark, paint, or stick anything to the walls. Repair costs will apply for any damage.
3. Furniture must never be dragged across the floor. Any flooring damage will be charged for repair.
4. Please ensure makeup, fake tan, and similar products do not stain the furniture, props, or studio. Replacement costs may apply.

1.4 General Terms
1. These terms apply to the hire of SK Studio Lounge and any additional products/services booked.
2. You are responsible for ensuring all guests and team members are aware of and comply with these terms.
3. No variation of these terms is valid unless agreed in writing by SK Studio Lounge.
4. Any clerical or typographical errors may be corrected without liability.
5. SK Studio Lounge reserves the right to make changes to the studio for safety, maintenance, or regulatory reasons.

1.5 Booking Confirmation
1. A booking is only confirmed once you receive written/email confirmation from SK Studio Lounge.
2. These terms incorporate our Privacy Policy and Risk Disclaimer.
3. Please check your confirmation details carefully and inform us of any errors immediately.
4. We will do our best to ensure your booking starts promptly at the agreed time.

1.6 Cancellations, Changes & Overtime
1. Bookings cancelled 72 hours or more in advance will receive a full refund.
2. Bookings can be rescheduled free of charge with 72 hours’ notice.
3. Cancellations within 72 hours are non-refundable, but a credit note will be issued.
4. If SK Studio Lounge cancels your booking, a full refund will be provided (no further compensation).
5. Refunds will be processed to the original payment method or issued as a credit note.
6. Late arrivals will not be given additional time. No refunds are available in this case.
7. If your booking runs over by more than 20 minutes, this will be deducted from your deposit.
8. Bookings overrunning by 60 minutes or more will lose the full deposit and incur an additional charge.
9. All setup, packing, loading and unloading must be completed within your booked slot.
10. If your booking impacts the following client, your deposit may be transferred to them.

1.7 Liability
1. SK Studio Lounge accepts no responsibility for personal belongings, equipment, or vehicles brought onto the premises.
2. Street parking is available nearby at the vehicle owner’s own risk.
3. Our total liability is limited to the refund of charges paid, except in cases of negligence causing personal injury.
4. Nothing in these terms limits SK Studio Lounge’s liability for injury or death caused by our negligence.

1.8 Legal & Miscellaneous
1. If any provision of these terms is deemed invalid or unenforceable, the remaining terms shall continue to apply.
2. No third party shall have any rights to enforce these terms.
3. These terms are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the country in which SK Studio Lounge is located.
